Passing of former Mayor of Livonia Dennis Wright
10/04/24 - IAFF Local 1164 Livonia Fire & Rescue is heartbroken to learn of the passing of former Mayor of Livonia Dennis Wright. It was our pleasure to serve the citizens during his tenure, and we are forever grateful for his support. The City of Livonia has lost a friend, mentor and Mayor – Dennis Wright passed away today at age 72. |

Set a secure admin password
02/06/24 - Macomb Township Professional Firefighters The first thing to do when you initially login as the administrator is set a secure password for the account. Click the User Settings button from the home page, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see a password field. Delete the current password and enter in your own private password. |

Fire closes Farmington Hills restaurant
05/10/23 - Western Wayne Co. Fire Dept Mutual Aid Assoc. FARMINGTON HILLS — A kitchen fire has closed a local restaurant. The Farmington Hills Fire Department responded at about 6:45 p.m. April 29 to a fire at The Brass Pointe BBQ, 24234 Orchard Lake Road, said Fire Chief Jon Unruh. Unruh said the fire began in the kitchen at the restaurant north of 10 Mile Road before spreading to part of the building's attic. |
Plymouth Township trustees divided on replacement of aging fire station
05/10/23 - Western Wayne Co. Fire Dept Mutual Aid Assoc. PLYMOUTH TWP. — With the Plymouth Township Board deeply divided on whether or not to build a new fire station, trustees voted Tuesday to study the issue before deciding the future of the township’s Station No. 2. Supervisor Kurt Heise said he is in favor of replacing the structure at 41212 Wilcox Road. “Fire Station No. 2 is going to be 50 years old,” Heise said. |
