New Marysville budget will include reorganized police, fire departments

May 17, 2013: Assistant Fire Chief Chris Peterson, a 20-plus year veteran of the Marysville Fire Department, will not necessarily be out of a job. But sometime after the city’s new budget goes into effect on July 1, he will no longer be the assistant fire chief. The position is set to be erased from the department organizational chart.
