July 26, 2013: I was saddened to learn that a great friend had passed away. Michael Chambers was an inspiration to all that knew him. On many occasions Michael helped to motivate and inspire members of the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union in its Fill The Boot efforts. This is the official MPFFU Fill The Boot Weekend and I know you will be on the minds of everyone of us out there. On behalf of the MPFFU and all of our members, Thank You. Our hearts and prayers go out to your family. You will be greatly missed my friend. It has been a true honor to know you. God Bless, Monty Nye
