April 1, 2014: Friends, colleagues and fellow firefighters from around the state came together at Dick O’Dow’s Thursday to support the family of fallen Birmingham firefighter Patrick Nagel. “All the firefighters and their families gave a hundred percent to make this work,” Birmingham firefighter Paul Wells said. “We just really want to say how much we appreciate all the businesses in this area who donated to the fundraiser ... and we can’t say enough about the public support.” Read more:
