Applications are currently being accepted for two (2) full-time Firefighter/EMT positions
with Elmwood Township Fire & Rescue until the positions are filled.
All applicants are expected to be Fire Fighter II and EMT-B certified (at a minimum) to be
eligible for consideration (applicant to provide proof of qualifications at the time of
application).

Testing (written and physical agility) to take place on August 9, 2025 at our station
(10086 E. Lincoln Rd., Traverse City, MI 49684). To be eligible for this round of testing,
completed applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM (ET) on August 1,
2025. Eligible applicants will be contacted to participate in the testing.
If the positions are not filled, the next round of testing would take place on August 23,
2025 with completed applications submitted no later than 5:00 PM (ET) on August 15,
2025.
