FULL-TIME FIREFIGHTER:  The City of Big Rapids is accepting applications for the position of full-time Firefighter.  Applicants must possess a FF II Training Council Certificate and a Michigan Medical First Responder license or higher.  Applicants must be able to pass an entry-level written test, physical agility test and have a valid Michigan Driver’s License.  Applications are available from the City Human Resources Office, 226 N. Michigan Avenue, or the City’s website www.cityofbr.org. Resume and cover letter must be submitted with a City application.  Resume, cover letter and applications will be accepted at the Human Resources Office until 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 8, 2016.  Preference will be given to an applicant with an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic license or higher.  The written test is tentatively scheduled for 1/30/16 and the physical agility test is tentatively scheduled for 2/6/16.  The City of Big Rapids is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer.
