Jan. 21, 2014: Ann Arbor and Superior townships are considering taking a significant step in sharing fire services. The two townships have applied for a $50,000 state grant that would fund an 18-month trial period in which the departments would share a single fire chief and fire marshal while continuing already strong automatic mutual aid agreements.
