Grosse Pointe Farms Public Safety Car spotting the hydrant for the first arriving engine. The PSO car hit the hydrant just down the block where a mansion that was burning. The fire consumed the entire dwelling causing 3 million dollars in damage. The PSO departments blamed it on poor water supply. December 1995
