The City of Rochester, Michigan (pop. 13,000) is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and community-focused Fire Chief to lead our full-service municipal fire department. Compensation:
Salary range $103,852 – $135,006,
Qualifications:
•
Associate degree in Fire Science or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related discipline preferred.
•
NIMS: ICS 100, 200, 300, 400, 700, and 800.
•
Fire Officer I, II, and III certifications required.
•
State of Michigan licensed EMT
•
Emergency Management Certification and/or completion of Fire Staff and Command training preferred.
•
Experience in municipal or public-sector fire service preferred.
