"I married a firefighter just over 13 years ago. On May 8 he was working so I choose to walk with the Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union that represents him. We thought we were alone the past few weeks in Bay City in the fight to save our fire department and citizen's safety. I would like to say "Thank You" to all Michigan Professional Firefighters. I cannot express enough thanks to all who walked for us. I want to also thank all that were working for their support. I watched our local TV station and the one commissioner who is against firefighters seemed a bit upset. Good! That is what we have been feeling everyday.
