The Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union is hosting an educational seminar for union officers and members on May 7th & 8th at the Hyatt Place Hotel in Novi. The complete agenda is attached.
The seminar will feature three general session topics as well as an opportunity to attend five of the 15 workshops that are being offered. Several of the workshops are being taught by IAFF Partners in Education Program (PEP) instructors.
The registration fee for this two-day event includes lunch and refreshment breaks each day. There will also be a networking hospitality hour at the end of the session on May 7th.

All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured by one of the above methods. Cancellations must be received a minimum of 24 hours prior to arrival for a full refund. Reservations by must be received on or before April 6th, 2019.
Payment of Registration Fees
The registration fee for this two-day seminar is $80. You can pay by credit card, mail a check, or call 734-675-0206 for automatic deduction of your registration fee from your account if your local is signed up for autopayment of your dues. The registration fee is $40 if you can only attend one day of the seminar. Payment of the registration fee should be made by April 30th.

You also must sign-up and register ONLINE for a specific workshop in each time period on both days. . The IAFF is handling this part of the registration process and it is imperative that you select your workshops ASAP but no later than April 25th, so they don’t cancel any of the sessions. Member Orientation Class
The MPFFU will also be offering a member orientation class for any interested members at this same location on May7th. There is no cost to attend this class, but you must pre-register by sending an email to email@example.com or by calling 734-675-0206. The class is from 10am-1pm and includes lunch.
