- MPFFU Local Union Administration Seminar
The information that will be presented in general sessions and workshops will cover an extensive assortment of topics that will provide information that will be helpful to anyone involved in the day-to-day operation of running a local union.
- MPFFU Collective Bargaining Seminar
The goal of this program is to help Local Union Executive Board members prepare for the collective bargaining process. The collective bargaining process allows you to negotiate wages, benefits, and other conditions of employment.
- MPFFU Health & Safety Seminar
The Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union hold an annual "Health and Safety" seminar in the fall. The goal of this program is to inform MPFFU members about current health and safety issues that affect them.
- MPFFU Legislative Summit
Comments from special legislative guests. Briefings and Orientation to Legislative Environment. Effective Advocacy Techniques. Review of MPFFU Legislative issues and talking points. Options available to locals for FIRE PAC program. In order to make this important event a success, we need members living in many different communities and from every local to attend. Attendees do not have to be members of your local union executive board to attend.
