• City of Cadillac Needs Fire Fighters

    The Cadillac Civil Service Commission will be conducting a written examination for the position of full-time Firefighter with the City of Cadillac in June 2017. Date, time, location and exam details will be provided to eligible candidates. The purpose of the examination is to initiate the establishment of an eligibility list, per PA 78 of 1935 and associated Rules & Regulations, in order to fill a present vacancy.

    Requirements at time of application: 21 years of age, HS diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, Firefighter I & II certification, and EMT license. Applicants must pre-register for the exam by submitting an application for employment along with the required certifications and licensure. Applications and additional information are available at the City’s Administrative Office, 200 N. Lake Street in Cadillac, and online at www.cadillac-mi.net. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. May 19, 2017. The starting pay for this position is $41,871/yr. The City of Cadillac is an equal opportunity employer.
